    Information for participants.

    Vivandieres and Soldiers!!!

It is great pleasure for me, the organizer and coordinator of the historical show “The Siege of Gdansk 1807”, to turn to you with my polite request to make all efforts to preserve the historical shape of this event. We would like to show our public both living history of Gdansk's siege and regular soldiers’ life during Napoleonic times. Therefore I would appreciate if you could bring necessary camp utilities and equipment of regular soldier’s life. The equipment is expected either to look like those in use in the beginning of XIX century or to be their faithful reconstruction.

Below are listed utilities and equipments, that are expected to be brought:
    - historical tents,
    - straw mattress to be filled on the site with hay,
    - military blankets,
    - axe,
    - cast-iron or copper kettle (one piece per troop),
    - private utilities: wooden plates and cups, metal or ceramic dishes, cutlery, other utilities of personal choice

    Organizer will provide:
    - black powder
    - food and drinking water
    - straw
    - firewood
    - WC and washing water
    - attended car park

Event is limited for 500 participants without soldier's pay and travel reimbursements.
