Information on the uniforms of the Grawert division in 1806?

Since I`ve been reading Kling`s book, I`ve noticed information about "special Jäger-pattern trousers for the 32nd Regiment", am I correct in assuming this refers to trousers with buttoned sides, similar to the officer's pattern?

At the same time, how possible is it that some regiments at the battle of Jena may have had uniforms that, following the pattern of FW II uniforms, could be buttoned up in cold weather, with the order for these uniforms being issued around the summer of 1806?

I'm currently working on a work about the Prussian army regiments in General Hohenlohe's corps, for which I'm drawing illustrations. In this regard, I'd like to ask for more details about the uniforms and small details that will make the illustrations much more accurate and realistic. I'm currently working on illustrations for the 32nd and 47th Regiments, I appreciate every help

Das Thema sollte mit der Fülle an Information nicht zu schwer sein, wegen den Uniformen halt hier auf der Seite von Markus Stein nachsehen, vor allem Doeppler, dazu eben die Felduniform, also die Litzen den Rabatten abgetrennt, Überhosen, Zeltpflöcke, Wasserflaschen und dergleichen, bei den Wasserflaschen aufpassen die wurden nicht von jeden Soldaten getragen, soweit ich mich erinnere eine für 4 oder 5, die war dann recht groß, Baldauf zeigt ein paar Preußen in FelduniformMusketiere 1806 Baldauf.jpg

The details I mentioned were about trousers with buttons on the sides (judging by the description) for the 32nd Regiment on page 63, as well as about uniforms on page 11 and another page, I can't say which one right now because I don't remember (but it's pretty much the same as on page 11) regarding uniforms that could be buttoned up in the cold (like it was under the Frederick the Great and Frederick Wilhelm the II until 1798).

I'm trying to find information about whether the regiments of Grawert's division (the 47th, 32nd, 39th, and 50th Regiments) had these uniforms? Because, as far as I know, Hohenloe, as the commander of the 32nd Regiment, paid close attention to uniforms and regulations concerning them not only within the regiment but also in his inspectorate (Lower Silesian).

Hohenlohe might have influence on tactics but not on uniforms, by a new cut money was saved and I cannot find any hint that old fashioned uniforms were still in use in 1806, the new projected uniforms were not yet introduced.

Ich möchte zu vorstehender Diskussion nur den Hinweis geben, dass das Regiment Nr.32 Fürst Hohenlohe das einzige Regiment der Linie war, welches als Überhosen graue Tuchhosen getragen hat. Die Hosen waren einfach und entsprachen im Schnitt den üblichen Überhosen mit dem bekannten unteren Schlitz und der kurzen Knopfleiste.

Ja Kling - außer den Jägern SCHEINT nur das Regiment Fürst zu Hohenlohe ... ausnahmsweise Überhosen aus Tuch getragen zu haben. Zur Farbe und Machart habe ich nichts gefunden - da wäre ein Zitat hilfreich, ansonsten Spekulation, wobei grau eine recht gute Vermutung wäre, die Artilleristen hatten sich ja teilweise blaue Wollüberknopfhosen zu geglegt. Danke jedenfalls für den Hinweis das mit dem Regiment 32 hatte ich bisher überlesen.

Auf Seite 66 zitiert Kling eine Quelle ... daß er ihm beim Ausmarsch warme Charavari machen ließ, - in der Kavallerie waren soweit ich weiß die Überhosen auch unter diesen Namen bekannt, das könnte auf Überknopfhosen hindeuten.
